Notice of new neighborhood priority

Attention!
WCNO has prioritized a Youth & Education Strategy and is moving $30,000 to fund a youth tutoring program.  Please let us know if you have any comments or questions and join the October 1st board meeting at 6:30pm to vote on the funding decision.

  1. Considering the incredible dearth of ANY programming, compared with other Ward 4 groups, I request you offer a budget for this rather large sum of $30k.

Thank you for keeping us informed.

    • Thanks for your input, Joseph! Your comment is helpful and will–in short–be shared at the meeting on Thursday (10/1 @ 6:30pm via Zoom).
      Two notes:
-Please join the meeting, if you are able, to turn this comment into an official vote!
-The vote would approve the budget of $30,000 for this focus, with the board and Executive Director to decide if the program will be in-house or partnering with another local organization who is doing Education work in ways that might benefit W-C. Is there anything you are specifically requesting in your comment that we need to capture?
